We thank and praise God for giving not just us but all of His children the opportunity to be used by Him, serve Him and be able to share His amazing love for us. 1 Timothy 1:12 - "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service.'' We are so undeserving and yet He continues to love us. We are so blessed to have Him as our Father and be His children. We also thank you for checking out our blog and for your prayers!
We are working with Youth for Christ in El Salvador (which is Juventud Para Cristo in Spanish) and reaching out the youth of El Salvador and helping the team down there establish, expand and just learn how to reach out the youth. We just hope that we can open doors for them and that they are able to develop after we leave. Praise God that He has already opened doors for YFC El Salvador and that we are able to reach out the youth because they go through so much change in their lives and it's a good time to reach out to them, teach them about God's love and just relate to them since many of us on the team are youth as well. It doesn't matter where you are, God has the power to connect His children around the world!
We are traveling down for two weeks (August 6 - 21) and we will be staying in San Salvador, El Salvador. We will travel around with the team down there to speak in Public schools and as well as Christian schools. There are many communities that are in desperate need for help and so we hope that God can really use us to do His will. While we travel, we will keep you updated everyday on this blog and keep you updated on prayer requests too!
As of right now, prayer requests:
- Safe trip to El Salvador and that everything goes well
- Obedience to the Holy Spirit
- For the language or translation to not be an obstacle
- May God work through us and teach us through the youth as well
- For the youth to have open hearts
